Σκέφτηκα αρκετά πως ακριβώς να περιγράψω στο blog την απόδοση του πιτσιρικά στο Β΄group και τα αποτελέσματα του.
Τελικά προτίμησα να παραθέσω απλά μέρος από την συνέντευξη που έδωσε στα Άγγλικά με τα σημαντικότερα σημεία και δύο video από την διοργάνωση.
Επί προσωπικού η παρουσία του Richard με την ομάδα μας και η γνωριμία μαζί του ανήκουν στα σημαντικότερα γεγονότα που έχω βιώσει τα χρόνια που ασχολούμαι διοικητικά με το σκάκι "αξία ανεκτίμητη".

One of them was an award of the audience. The local viewers and the inline followers voted this for me because of my performance in the third round so I received 300 €. To be honest, I had several good games and I’m not sure that this was the one that deserved the award. The second one, I received after the tournament from the Dutch vice governor, as the most talented youngster.
The final victory wasn’t too far either, as you beat Nikolic in the last round.
In addition, I also won the game before. I could not go for it any better but against Naiditsch I made serious mistakes because of the fatigue. However I really don’t understand what exactly happened in the last round. My game was over when Ernst and Naiditsch were still playing. Out of 100 times you can lose at most once from the position that Ernst had at that time but he failed it somehow. It was tough for me. I don’t deny it.
However it can be heard that you may participate in the Group A next year.
I only know that in the past 14 years, including me, it only happened 3 times to have a dead heat. Once it exactly happened to Carlsen that he remained in the second place in a dead heat and three month later he was called to be welcomed in the Group A in the following year. In addition, there was an English player who was invited immediately after the tournament. In my case, there is nothing concrete yet but can see some chances for that.
Mentioning Carlsen, do I know well that you have some special experience with the world’s best chess player?
He watched many of my games. It’s still not surprising, as it’s a kind of habit here. But after the closing ceremony he came over me and congratulated to my achievements. It was a great pleasure to me. I was hardly surprised that he even knows my name. It felt great for me!!!
