Russian Club Chess Championship is taking place in Dagomys, Sochi (Russia) from 1 to 14 April 2008. This championship is the strongest in the history of the Russian team competitions. The tournament system is round robin. First four teams will have the right to participate in the European Club Cup 2008. There is a restriction in the championship to the ``legionnaires`` - each team is allowed to state no more than three foreigners. The participants are as follows: 1. ``Finek-Gazprombank`` (St. Petersburg), 2. ``SHSM`` (Moscow), 3. ``The Economist - SGSEU-1``(Saratov), 4. ``Ekomist - SGSEU-2`` (Saratov), 5. ``Shatar-Metropole`` (Buryatia), 6. ``64`` (Moscow), 7. ``Tomsk-400`` (Tomsk), 8. ``The South Ural`` (Chelyabinsk), 9. ``Polytechnic`` (Nizhny Tagil), 10. ``TPS-Saransk`` (Saransk), 11. ``Ural`` (Ekaterinburg), 12. ``Spacio-Swiss`` (Moscow).
